PLANTS vs ZOMBIES 2 was the series first foray into games as a live service, meaning it would require regular content updates to keep it running for years and years. Having already spent four years developing said content, I challenged myself to find new ways to grow and expand the brand.

 

I took on the responsibilities of creative director  and set out to craft a proposal for uprooting the franchise from the tower defense genre.

The experiment ended with a 30 page booklet outlining a totally new, mobile focused, casual strategy game starring the Zombies!
